Plant Care Instructions for Shopify
1. Bashira
Light:
Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Can tolerate some light shade, but direct hot sun will scorch the leaves. Rotate regularly for even growth.
Watering:
Water thoroughly when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. It is sensitive to overwatering and prefers to dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid letting it sit in standing water. Water less in the winter.
Humidity:
Prefers moderate to high humidity. Regular misting, using a pebble tray, or grouping it with other plants will help.
Temperature:
Maintains best health in temperatures between 65°F and 80°F (18°C - 27°C). Protect from cold drafts.
2. Dracaena
Light:
Prefers very bright, direct light. It will tolerate lower light conditions, but its growth will slow significantly. This is a succulent, and light is key.
Watering:
Water very sparingly. The thick trunk stores water, so allow the soil to dry out completely throughout the pot between waterings. During winter, water only every few weeks.
Humidity:
Does well in dry indoor conditions. No extra humidity is needed.
Temperature:
Thrives in average to warm room temperatures, 60°F to 75°F (15°C to 24°C). Avoid temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
3. Snake Plant
Light:
Extremely adaptable. It performs best in bright, indirect light but can tolerate very low light and also some direct sun. It is a slow grower.
Watering:
Wait for the soil to dry out completely before watering. This is one of the most drought-tolerant plants. In winter, you only need to water it once every month or two.
Humidity:
Very tolerant of dry air. Regular indoor humidity is fine.
Temperature:
Thrives in average room temperatures, 60°F to 75°F (15°C to 24°C). It does not like cold, so keep it away from drafts and air conditioners.
